A commercial in a box.

Six weeks, one session a week. Not lectures. Every week the group sits down and builds one stage of your ad, and every week you leave with homework.

Then our team turns your homework into something finished and hands it back before the next session. Two hours in the room is the smallest part of it.

Your ad is locked by Session 3.

Script and storyboard finished, fourteen days in. Made and on air by the end of the six weeks.

WHAT THE $1,000 ACTUALLY BUYS

Our studio does the work between sessions.

Built by the team that makes ads for Amazon, Microsoft, and Nintendo. On your business, delivered to your inbox.

  • A written Strategy Brief. Your audience, your single claim, and an honest inventory of the proof you actually have.
  • Concept cards. Every concept written up as one page. Plus one outside concept for your business from our team that you never asked for.
  • A finished :30 script. Timed, cut, and read out loud.
  • A drawn, shot-by-shot storyboard. The document a production company or an AI tool works from.
  • A production plan costed three ways against your specific board, so you see the real number at every tier before you commit to anything.

All five are yours at the end of Session 4, whatever you decide about who produces your spot.

The six weeks.

  • WED AUG 19Offer and strategy Who you're talking to, and the one thing you're going to say to them.
  • WED AUG 26Creative concepting The One-Hour Creative Concept Method, run live on your business. You leave with concepts, not notes about concepts.
  • WED SEP 2Scripts and storyboards Your concept becomes a :30 script and a shot-by-shot board. Your Your ad is locked this night.
  • WED SEP 9Your production path You decide how your spot gets made and who makes it. Real numbers on every option.
  • WED SEP 16Your media plan How streaming TV is bought, what it costs, how it's tracked. A real buy gets placed live, in the room.
  • WED SEP 23Final launch checklist Every campaign checked line by line before a dollar is spent. Then all Five Magic Metrics, read across every ad in the room. Including Jon's.

Wild Gravity, 105 14th Ave, Seattle. In person is the default, and there's a Zoom link for any week you genuinely can't be in the room.

All six sessions are for everybody.

At Session 4 you choose how your spot gets made. One of the options is us. Either way you're in every room.

Producing with Wild Gravity

Weeks 5 and 6 are us building your actual spot and placing your actual media buy. A simple production is made in about two weeks, which puts you on television inside 45 days. Anything more involved takes longer, and your media spend is yours to fund.

Producing somewhere else

Same room, same two sessions. You watch a real spot get built and a real buy get placed, and you build your own media plan alongside it. We mark up your work the same night.

Nothing is hidden from anyone. The difference isn't access. It's whose ad is on the screen.

One caveat, said up front. A more involved production, meaning a location shoot, talent, animation, or heavy visual effects, takes longer than two weeks to make. We'll tell you which one yours is when we quote it in Session 4, not afterwards. Production and media are priced separately and are not included here.

READ THIS BEFORE YOU PAY

The six weeks are filmed.

Sessions are tracked, key moments are filmed, and the material gets published. That includes the setbacks and the results that disappoint. If your campaign underperforms, that may be published too.

So will Jon's.

He's building an ad in the same room on the same deadline. The ad he makes over these six weeks is the ad for the next Hacking Advertising LIVE, and you'll see his numbers. Including the ones he'd rather you didn't.

Some moments are reenacted afterwards with the people who were there, and anything reenacted is labelled as reenacted, on camera, every time. You can ask us to hold back a specific piece of confidential business information and we will. You can't ask us to hold back a result because it wasn't flattering.

Who this is for.

  • You own the business, or you run its marketing and you can decide.
  • You're already spending on Meta, Google, or YouTube and want more from it.
  • You can get to Seattle on a Wednesday afternoon six times, or join on Zoom.
  • You'll do the homework.
  • Not for you if you want a finished ad handed over without your input.
  • Not for you if you'd rather not appear on camera at all.
  • Not for you if you're after a guaranteed business result. Nobody honest sells one.

Take your seat.
